About the event

Join the Copper Country Bird Club for a guided bird hike led by Reece Redeye-Desposito on Sunday, May 10th at 6:00 PM at the Arnheim Unit of the Sturgeon River Sloughs Wildlife Area.

We will meet at the north-most parking lot in the Arnheim portion of the Sturgeon River Sloughs.

The best bird viewing will involve approximately a 1/2-mile walk along a level dike, making for an easy and accessible hike for most participants.

The walk will begin promptly at 6:00 PM, and participants are welcome to leave whenever they choose. We anticipate the outing will last at least two hours, with the possibility of continuing later for anyone interested in looking for owls.

Please bring binoculars, weather-appropriate clothing, and sturdy walking shoes. We hope to see you there for an enjoyable evening of birding!
